Terra Brasil has the exploration rights dully registered at the National Mineral Production Department (DNPM) of an area with approximately 1 billion tons of phosphate rock with higher average grade than other projects, making it the largest untapped reserve in Brazil.
Given the best cost benefit of the project, Terra Brasil Fertilizantes, will not make use of river water intakes, or use of tailings dams, being thus a dry mine with minimal environmental impact and low environmental risk.
